Dodge Issues Recall Of 2011-2016 Chargers To Supply Owners With Wheel Chocks

Dodge has announced a voluntary safety recall of Chargers from model years 2011-2016 in order to supply owners with wheel chocks. The wheel chocks will assist in stabilizing the vehicle when employing a tire jack to change the wheels. Without the wheel chocks, it is possible that an affected vehicle can fall off the jack. There have been three minor hand injuries reported to the company as a result of this issue.

In the U.S. alone this will affect 441,578 vehicle, but the recall also extends to 19,229 cars in Canada, 4,969 in Mexico and another 38,947 outside of North America. Those owners whose vehicles are affected by the recall will be notified by mail when they are able to pick up their wheel chocks, at no cost to them.
